An 81-year-old woman from Armagh has died after a collision involving a lorry and a pedestrian in County Armagh.
Eithne Vallely was pronounced deceased at the scene following the crash at approximately 8.20am on Friday. Police are now appealing to anyone who witnessed the incident, or who has information that could assist their investigation, to come forward.
Emergency services attended the scene
Police officers attended alongside other emergency services after the collision was reported. Medical treatment was provided at the scene, but Ms Vallely died there.
The Northern Ireland Ambulance Service sent a substantial emergency response. It included two emergency ambulances, a rapid response paramedic and the Charity Air Ambulance, which was carrying a HEMS crew.
