Armagh’s food and drink scene will take centre stage from 3 to 6 September 2026, when the four-day Armagh Food & Cider Festival returns with more than 40 experiences planned across the Orchard County.
The festival will give Armagh residents the chance to explore local food and cider close to home, while visitors will be offered an introduction to the area’s produce, hospitality and orchard culture.
What to expect across the four-day festival
The programme is built around both tasting local products and showing how they are made. Family-run orchards, cider makers, chefs and artisan producers will feature throughout the festival, with activities ranging from relaxed food experiences to hands-on sessions.
Planned events include fire-cooked feasts, orchard tours, artisan markets, cocktail masterclasses and afternoon teas. One of the featured experiences is the Woodland Supper, where guests will dine beneath the trees.
Visitors will also be able to explore a working cider orchard with Long Meadow Cider and learn more about the production behind Armagh’s cider offering. Cider & Screams will offer a murder mystery experience designed to test guests’ detective skills.
Cooking with Fire will focus on preparing food over an open fire in a hands-on setting. Across the programme, attendees will be able to move between orchard-based activities, food events and producer-led experiences.
