Principal praises pupils and staff

Principal Noeleen Tiffney said the results reflected the commitment of students, staff and the wider St Catherine’s College community.

“The achievements of all of our students are a tremendous source of pride for the whole Saint Catherine’s College community. They are the result of the determination and hard work of our young people, alongside the unwavering commitment and expertise of our staff.”

She added:

“At the heart of what we do is a belief that every student should be encouraged, challenged and supported to fulfil their potential. These results are a wonderful reflection of that shared commitment.”

The school’s results day celebrations took place on August 21, 2026, as students and their families gathered to share the achievement.

Alongside the three perfect results, the college’s published photographs showed a wider group of pupils who had achieved strong grades across their GCSE subjects. The school said the outcomes covered a wide range of subjects and represented a successful conclusion to years of study.

For the pupils receiving their results, the day was both a personal milestone and an opportunity to celebrate collectively with classmates, parents, families and staff. The college’s message was that the achievements reflected not only individual determination, but also the encouragement and support provided throughout students’ education.
