The robbery happened at around 1pm on Saturday, August 22, at a filling station bureau de change in the Monaghan Road area. The suspect is believed to have been carrying a small handgun and left the premises with a quantity of cash.

The employee was not physically injured but was described as obviously shaken following the incident. Officers attended after receiving a report of an ongoing armed robbery and spoke with the member of staff.
