Bereaved mothers from across Armagh are being invited to an afternoon of craft, remembrance and shared support at Bramley Barn on the Loughgall road.

The Memory Garden is hosting the workshop, which will give bereaved mums the opportunity to come together and create a personalised plaque in memory of their little one.

Workshop for mothers who have experienced loss

The event is open to mothers who have lost babies through pregnancy, stillbirth, neonatal death or other early infancy conditions. It is intended as a gentle and creative afternoon for people who have experienced these different forms of bereavement.

The workshop will take place at Bramley Barn, Long Meadow Farm, on the Loughgall road on Saturday, October 10. It is scheduled to begin at 2pm.

Booking and funding details

The afternoon is fully funded through the ABC C Take £500+ scheme. A £1 booking fee will still be charged when attendees reserve a place.

Anyone seeking further information or wishing to book has been directed to visit The Memory Garden’s Facebook page. The organisers’ announcement does not state how many places are available or when bookings will close.

The event was reported by Armagh I on August 17, 2026. Its focus is on providing bereaved mothers with a practical creative activity and a way to remember their child alongside others who have experienced loss.
