Armagh’s food and drink scene will take centre stage this September as the four-day Armagh Food & Cider Festival returns with more than 40 experiences planned from 3 to 6 September 2026.

The festival is set to give Armagh residents the opportunity to explore local food and cider close to home, while showcasing the region’s produce, hospitality and long-established orchard culture to visitors.

What is planned at the festival

Family-run orchards, cider makers, chefs and artisan producers will feature throughout the four-day programme. The events will include informal food experiences as well as practical, hands-on sessions exploring how local food and drink are produced.

Activities planned for the festival include fire-cooked feasts, orchard tours, artisan markets, cocktail masterclasses and afternoon teas. One of the featured events, the Woodland Supper, will invite guests to dine beneath the trees.

Visitors will also be able to explore a working cider orchard with Long Meadow Cider and learn more about the production behind Armagh’s cider offering. The Cider & Screams event will add a murder-mystery element, with guests challenged to test their detective skills.

Cooking with Fire will offer a hands-on opportunity to prepare food over an open fire. Across the wider programme, attendees will be able to move between orchard activities, food events and producer-led experiences.

Tickets, bookings and the Armagh Bramley Apple

Tickets and further information are available through Visit Armagh’s food and cider festival website. Booking arrangements may differ between individual experiences, so people planning to attend are advised to check the official listing for each event before booking.

The festival will celebrate the PGI Armagh Bramley Apple, alongside the people, producers and stories connected to the region’s food and drink tradition. The focus on the Bramley reflects Armagh’s established identity as an orchard region.

With afternoon teas, artisan markets, interactive cooking, orchard visits and cider experiences, the programme will provide residents and visitors with several ways to engage with Armagh’s food traditions during the four-day event.
