One person was taken to hospital after a car overturned in an accident on the Monaghan Road near Middletown, outside Armagh, on Wednesday morning.
The incident happened at approximately 10.05am on August 19, 2026. The Northern Ireland Ambulance Service received a 999 call at 10:05 reporting an incident in the Monaghan Road area near Middletown.
Two ambulances were sent to the scene. After assessment and initial treatment, one patient was taken by ambulance to Craigavon Area Hospital.
Emergency services attended the scene
Teams from the Northern Ireland Fire and Rescue Service attended alongside police and ambulance crews. Two fire appliances were deployed.
When firefighters arrived, the occupants of the vehicle were already out. Firefighters made the area safe before handing the scene over to the PSNI. They left at 10.28am.
Police appeal for witnesses and footage
Police are asking anyone who witnessed the collision, or who has video footage that could assist the investigation, to contact them on 101.
