Families planning a festive visit to Armagh can prepare for a Christmas adventure at Armagh Observatory and Planetarium, where Mission Santa will run on various dates and times throughout November and December 2026.
The experience is built around an out-of-this-world mission involving the E.L.F. crew. Visitors will be invited to help save Santa inside mission control during a theatrical show before meeting Santa.
What is included in Mission Santa?
Each Mission Santa booking includes admission to a dome show in the digital theatre, followed by the mission-control theatrical experience and a visit to see Santa. Every child will also receive a present, while families will receive a printed family photograph.
Visit Armagh says each mission will last between 90 and 120 minutes. The event listing describes the experience as a similar show to the one performed in 2025.
