Aonach Mhacha in Armagh will host a full day of music, storytelling, art and heritage when Macha Alive Fest 2026 arrives on Saturday 7 November.
The festival will run from 1pm until 10.30pm at 74 Upper English Street, Armagh, BT61 7LJ. Tickets are available from £26.50, with further information and ticket sales provided through Visit Armagh.
A festival rooted in Armagh’s ancient past
Macha Alive is described as a cultural and arts festival rooted in the ancient mythology, landscape and heritage of Armagh. Its programme draws inspiration from Macha, a powerful female figure associated with the region’s mythology.
The event will also celebrate the cultural significance of Emain Macha, also known as Navan Fort, by bringing ancient stories together with contemporary creative work.
