Visitors to Gosford Forest Park are being advised to expect traffic management measures while work takes place to install a new parking barrier at the facility.
The work began on Monday 5 October and is expected to be completed within two weeks. During the installation period, traffic management arrangements will be in operation around the park.
Park remains open
Gosford Forest Park will remain open as normal while the work is carried out, meaning visitors and regular users can continue to access the popular site during the installation.
The new barrier will replace the current payment hut at the entrance to the park. Armagh, Banbridge & Craigavon Borough Council, which manages the park, has confirmed that there will be no change to parking costs.
Message for visitors
An ABC Council spokesperson said: It is still very much business as usual at Gosford Forest Park, we appreciate the patience shown by visitors and our regular users of the park, while this work is carried out.
Visitors should allow for the temporary traffic management arrangements when arriving at the park while the barrier installation is under way.
