Businesses and aspiring entrepreneurs across the Armagh City, Banbridge and Craigavon Borough will be offered a week of free advice, inspiration and practical learning when Enterprise Week 2026 takes place from Monday 16 to Friday 20 November.

Organised by Armagh City, Banbridge and Craigavon Borough Council under the theme Entrepreneurs Thrive Here, the programme will focus on how businesses can respond to change, plan for the future, protect their wellbeing and make better use of technology.

Programme opens at The Palace, Armagh

The week begins on Monday 16 November at The Palace in Armagh with When ‘Plan A’ Disappears. Guest speaker Kieran Kelly from ubloquity will share his experience of resilience, reinvention and finding new opportunities after unexpected change.

Other sessions will examine succession planning and how business owners can protect their legacy, with Catherine Muldoon from Employee Ownership Ireland taking part. The programme will also include a breakfast conversation about the wellbeing of business owners.

A panel event will bring together four local female entrepreneurs: Laura Vogan of S’more’a’licious, Charlene McKinstry of Gracehill Flowers, Leanne Seeley of Simply Beautiful and Dr Jayne Vaughan of Fresh Aesthetics & Skin.

Digital skills day planned for Keady

Enterprise Week will conclude on Friday 20 November with a dedicated digital skills day at Tommy Makem Arts and Community Centre in Keady.

Attendees will be able to watch a live demonstration and take part in an AI in an Hour session. Hands-on DigiLabs workshops will cover virtual reality, AI-powered marketing and podcasting for business.

The workshops are part of DS3, a project supported by PEACEPLUS. The programme is managed by the Special EU Programmes Body and is co-funded by the European Union, the UK and Irish governments, and the Northern Ireland Executive.

Lord Mayor of Armagh City, Banbridge and Craigavon Councillor Mary O’Dowd said the week would address “some of the most important conversations in business”, including adapting to changing circumstances, planning for the future, wellbeing and new technology.

She encouraged established businesses, people developing new ideas and those considering their first venture to attend, be inspired and connect with others from across the borough.

The council said the programme reflects its continued commitment to supporting enterprise, encouraging innovation and helping local businesses develop resilience, confidence and skills for the future.
