An 81-year-old woman from Armagh has been named after she died following a collision involving a lorry and a pedestrian in County Armagh.

The crash happened at approximately 8.20am on Friday and was described as a single-vehicle road accident. Police said officers attended alongside other emergency services after receiving a report of the incident.

The woman was identified as Eithne Vallely, from Armagh. Medical treatment was provided at the scene, but she was pronounced deceased there.
