Armagh Robinson Library will welcome visitors on Saturday 12 September and Sunday 13 September 2026 as part of European Heritage Open Days 2026.

The event will offer the chance to explore one of Ireland’s oldest libraries, with special displays planned inside the historic Armagh building.

Rare architectural drawings on display

A centrepiece of the displays will be the original 1770 architectural drawings for the Library, created by renowned architect Thomas Cooley.

Visitors will be able to discover more about the library’s history, architecture and craftsmanship, while also learning about the importance of preserving Northern Ireland’s built heritage.
