A traditional festive performance featuring masks, music and merriment is coming to Aonach Macha in Armagh this November, with residents able to attend free of charge.
The Armagh Rhymers will present The Christmas Mummers on Saturday 28 November 2026. The event is scheduled to run from 12.30pm until 2pm, giving families and visitors an afternoon opportunity to experience a traditional Mummers’ Christmas celebration.
What to expect at Aonach Macha
Organisers describe the performance as a celebration filled with “magic, masks & merriment”. The event listing also includes the festive invitation: “Room Room me gallant boys and we'll show you some activity this happy festive time!”
Admission is free. The performance forms part of the Armagh Georgian Festival 2026 programme, with Armagh City, Banbridge & Craigavon Borough Council facilitating the ticket sales service.
