An Armagh charity raffle has transformed one holiday prize into £6,000 for two organisations supporting people and families through exceptionally difficult circumstances.

iCare’s 2026 Destination Anywhere raffle has now closed, with Air Ambulance Northern Ireland and Make-A-Wish Ireland each set to receive £3,000. The money was raised through ticket sales, following support from people who bought tickets, shared the campaign or helped promote it.

Winner receives £3,000 prize

The winning ticket belonged to Aimee Crilly. She will receive the £3,000 Destination Anywhere prize, which can be used towards a holiday of her choice or taken as a cash alternative.

The prize itself was fully funded by iCare. That arrangement meant all money generated through raffle ticket sales could be passed on to the two selected charities rather than being used to cover the cost of the prize.

How the charities will use the money

Air Ambulance Northern Ireland provides critical pre-hospital emergency care across Northern Ireland. Make-A-Wish Ireland creates life-changing wishes for children living with critical illnesses.

Janine McNally, co-founder and Operations Lead of iCare, said the organisation was delighted to support both charities and thanked everyone who contributed to the campaign.

“We are absolutely delighted to be donating £3,000 to both Air Ambulance Northern Ireland and Make-A-Wish Ireland. These organisations provide such important support to people and families during incredibly difficult times, and we are proud that iCare will contribute to that work.
“A sincere thank you to everyone who purchased a ticket, shared the campaign or helped us spread the word. Every contribution played a part in reaching this result.”

iCare and Tarasis Enterprises also congratulated Ms Crilly and thanked everyone who supported the raffle. The organisation said the combined contributions had turned a single prize into practical support for two charities.

iCare donations remain open

Although this year’s raffle has ended, iCare said its wider work continues throughout the year. The charity supports individuals, families, community groups and charitable organisations wherever help is most needed.

Donations remain welcome and help iCare continue providing practical, personal and compassionate support. Further information and donation details are available at icarecharity.com.
