A civil action over the alleged involvement of serving British soldiers in the murder of two Gaelic football fans has been adjourned until January.

The case was before the High Court in Belfast this week, where the families were seeking compensation from the Ministry of Defence.

The proceedings concern the 1975 murder of Sean Farmer in Armagh. His family attended the hearing after evidence emerged about an alleged role by members of the Ulster Defence Regiment in the killings.

The case relates to allegations involving the Glenanne Gang. The civil action will now remain on hold until January.
